I didn’t have the skills needed to navigate the ups and downs of academic pressures, family problems, and friendship challenges.
What was the most difficult? The negative self-talk that kept me from fulfilling my greatest life.
I became a school counselor, wife, and mother. My busy life was fulfilled, however I struggled being present for myself and others. I was still missing something. The voices in my head continued, “You’re not good enough.”
Fear and self-doubt continued until my first yoga class. As I was directed on proper breathing techniques, I felt my body relax. Something inside me rose up. My internal strength was revealed. I’d finally found coping tools that could help me manage emotions, increase self-awareness, and improve relationship skills.
Fear and the emptiness gradually weakened and in their place was unstoppable self-confidence.
Children are feeling anxiety like never before. They long for self-efficacy, self-awareness, and problems solving skills.
