  1. SPINE (BACK BONE) - Press your bottom into the ground and lift your skull towards the ceiling. Feel your spine and thank it for helping you stand tall and strong.

  2. SKULL - Touch your skull and visualize the brain housed safely underneath it. Take time to appreciate these strong, protective bones.

  3. RIB CAGE - Sit tall and place your hands on the outside of your rib cage. Feel how it expands with each deep inhale. Recognize the muscles between in each bone that allows body movement. Give a shout out to the rib cage for protecting your lungs! .

SCIENCE

  1. Oysters are mollusks. They have a soft body with a hard shell. All mollusks live in water.

  2. Oyster beds are filters. They help clean the water and are great for the environment.

  3. Mound Key is an island in Southwest Florida where the Colusa Indians ate oysters and fish. The shells of these delicious oysters created a huge mountain that is near 30 feet high.

  4. Pearls from oysters are usually found in deep water.

  5. Oysters taste best in the winter when the water is cold.
